What is InboxCart?

InboxCart is a platform that turns your Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp DMs into a 24/7 storefront. An AI assistant answers customer messages, checks inventory, takes orders through a native form, and routes payments to your Stripe account.
Who is InboxCart for?

How long does setup take?

Under ten minutes. Sign up, connect your Facebook Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number with one click, connect Stripe with one click, and upload your products. Your assistant is live the moment the channel finishes linking.
Do I need a website before using InboxCart?

No. InboxCart gives you a hosted storefront at yourname.inboxcart.app, plus you can connect your own custom domain. Customers who prefer to browse can shop without needing a separate website.
Messenger, Instagram & WhatsApp
Which platforms are supported?
+
Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, and WhatsApp. Connect one or all three. The AI assistant works the same across every channel, and orders from every channel land in the same dashboard.
How does the AI chat assistant work?
+
When a customer messages you on Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp, InboxCart's AI reads the message, looks up your live inventory, and replies in natural language. If the customer wants to buy, the assistant sends a native order form (a Messenger/Instagram WebView, or a WhatsApp link) pre-filled with their selection. You keep full access to each inbox. The bot only replies when nobody else does.
Can I turn the bot off?

Yes. You can toggle the bot on or off per channel from your dashboard at any time. When off, the bot stops replying and the inbox behaves normally.
Will customers know they're talking to a bot?
+
The bot replies in a friendly, on-brand tone using your business details. Meta requires automated accounts to be honest about being automated when asked directly, and InboxCart follows that rule across every channel.
What happens if the bot can't answer a question?

The bot gracefully hands off. It tells the customer a human will follow up, and the message lands in your inbox so you can reply personally.
Payments
How do I accept card payments?
+
Connect your own Stripe account through InboxCart's Connect flow in the dashboard. Funds settle directly into your Stripe account. InboxCart never holds your money.
Can I accept bank transfer instead?
+
Yes. You can configure your bank account details in settings, and customers who choose bank transfer will receive automatic instructions by email.
Are there per-transaction fees?
+
InboxCart does not take a cut of your sales. Stripe's standard processing fees apply to card payments (paid directly to Stripe).
Billing & plans
How does the free trial work?
+
All new accounts start on a 14-day free trial with full Growth-tier access, including done-for-you setup and a 1-on-1 onboarding call. No credit card required. When the trial ends, pick the plan that fits your DM volume to keep your store live.
What plans are available?

Three tiers, monthly or yearly billing (save 17% on yearly). Starter $29/mo (500 bot replies, hard cap), Growth $69/mo (2,500 replies + overage, multimodal AI, custom domain, our most popular), and Scale $149/mo (10,000 replies + overage, priority support). All tiers include every channel (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram) and the hosted storefront.
How does tax work on the price?

Prices are quoted in USD before tax. At checkout, Stripe Tax adds local tax based on your billing address: NZ customers see GST 15%, EU/UK customers see VAT (or zero-rated with a valid VAT ID), US customers see state sales tax where applicable. The amount before tax is what you see on the pricing page.
Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancel from the billing page and your subscription runs until the end of the current period. Plus, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if InboxCart isn’t working for you, we’ll refund every dollar.
Inventory & orders
Does InboxCart support rental businesses?

Yes. Items can be marked as rental (with rental and return dates) or sale. Stock availability is checked per date range so the bot never offers an item that's already booked.
How do I manage orders?

Every order from Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, or your storefront lands in your dashboard under Orders. You can view, update status, add notes, and export to CSV.
Can customers track their orders?

Yes. Every order gets an order number and a lookup page customers can access with just their email, no account required.
Domains & branding
Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Add your domain in settings, point DNS to InboxCart, and we handle HTTPS automatically.
Can I remove InboxCart's branding?
+
Yes, white-label branding is included: no "Powered by InboxCart" anywhere customer-facing.
